Okay, so maybe it’s a little late to be introducing him, considering Modi has been the prime minister of India since 2014, but even to this day, many still don’t know who this prime minister is. Many people have their own specific interests, Modi’s interest happens to revolve around poetry. The prime minister of India likes to write poetry in his native language, Gujarati. Despite his interests in poetry, he also enjoys photography. He’s actually showcased an exhibition once for his work. I guess you could say he’s the Andy Warhol of prime ministers.
Away from the Wife
When Modi was a teenager, he was forced into marriage with Jashodaben Chimanlal by their parents. Although they were married, the marriage was not consummated due to Modi embarking on his political journey and leaving home.
During the prime minster’s teenage years, he had participated in Drama and performed in several plays. He also was apart of a drama that was for a fundraiser. Imagine if India’s prime minister didn’t pursue a career in politics and instead acted in Bollywood.
During Modi’s childhood, the future prime minister faced a near-death experience involving a lake and a crocodile. In his hometown, Sharmishtha Lake was considered a regular play area for Modi at the time, but it was also a regular area for crocodiles to beach at. The near-death experience occurred what a crocodile had struck him on the back with his tail, resulting in severe injuries. Luckily for Modi, he survived the attack.

Modi is known for being one of the best orators, or public speakers, in India, which was something that had attracted many people to stand by his side. Not only that, but whenever he is given a new issue to handle or discuss, he makes sure to do his homework before addressing it. Good for you Modi!

Something many who do know Modi should know…the prime minister really stressed India being clean. Modi presses on trying to clean up India, a country known for its abundance of trash. He’s even quoted in one of his rally speeches, “build toilets before temples.”

During Modi’s teenage years, he was faced with an event that rocked India at the time…the Indo-Pak War. Although he did not fight in the war as a soldier or even as a “minuteman,” he did help aid soldiers at railway stations.
